¹⁸ At the commandment of the Lord the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the Lord they camped. As long as the cloud dwelt over the tabernacle they camped. ¹⁹ When the cloud remained many days over the tabernacle, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the Lord and did not journey. ²⁰ When the cloud remained a few days over the tabernacle, according to the commandment of the Lord they dwelt in their tents, and according to the commandment of the Lord they journeyed.
